Proposed studio body fabric
Natural fibers, with a little give.
We’re developing a cotton-rich stretch fabric for the studio collection, with softness and everyday movement in mind. Elastane provides stretch and is a synthetic plastic fiber.
For men, we’re exploring organic cotton and lyocell, a wood-derived cellulosic fiber, with a small amount of elastane. Final percentages and complete trim composition will be published after fabric approval.

When can I shop the collection?
We’re developing our first physical samples. Orders will open after fit, materials and production are approved. Join the list for updates; we haven’t announced a launch date yet.
Is BRKL plastic-free?
The proposed studio blend is 92% organic cotton and 8% elastane, so it is not plastic-free. The men’s designs also propose elastane alongside cotton and lyocell, with exact percentages still in development. They are not being presented as plastic-free. Complete garment components, including thread, elastic, labels and finishes, still need verification.
What are these pieces designed for?
The women’s collection is being developed for studio sessions and everyday movement. The men’s collection targets tennis and training, with short-run trials planned for the Rally Short and Pace Tee. Drying, wet cling, chafing, pocket bounce and stretch recovery need testing before we make sport-specific claims. The Cove Bra is being developed for low support, not high-impact sport.
What about dyes and finishes?
Our development brief excludes intentionally added PFAS and antimicrobial finishes. Supplier documentation and finished-garment testing are part of the approval process. No BRKL garment has completed that testing yet.
Are these photographs of finished products?
The images are AI-generated design concepts. They show our direction, while final construction, colors and fit may change through sampling. Real sample photography will be added before orders open.
What sizes will you offer?
We’re developing an XS–XXL range. Final size charts will follow fittings across the range. Tops and bottoms will have separate size choices so you can find your own combination.
